The security initiative is broken up into 2 components:

  • Gating/Infrastructure
  • Security/Monitoring

Gating/Infrastructure

Gates with proposed access times

The following guide is the proposed gate access times. This is subject to change based on traffic, security and other risk assessments.

  • Orange: Gates that have 24 hour manned access control
  • Sky Blue: Gates that have 12 hour manned access control
  • Black: Gates that will remain closed

All gates will have pedestrian access side-gates.

Security

The guarding allocation will depend on the available monthly budget. If 80+% of residents contribute monthly, the following proposed security can be provided:

  • 24 hour manned access control guards at various locations
  • 12 hour manned access control guards at various locations
  • Roaming guards and/or roaming security vehicles

Monitoring

Security cameras to be installed at various locations to create a supporting surveillance system with off-site alert-based monitoring linked up to the security company.
